CLEA Toy Design Contest – from Art board to Toy Surface

It’s interesting that Thailand have a big toy design contest, Suddenly!
It’s a contest Character & Licensing Expo Asia 2010 or CLEA 2010.

This is a good opportunity for Thai designer to show up your skill and guts,
since the event organizer will choose 50 Thai and 50 oversea designs
to show the real figure in the event… YES! I said 100 designs!…
Last year I’ve join the STGCC event in Singapore and I can figure out
how many designer and company will join and see your work..
so if you miss the contest , Yes, you are missing the day
of introducing yourself to the world!

So.. with No hesitate, I have design 3 work piece to join the contest..
two with my kids, the original characters “Akkie the Fire Warrior”
and “Drunken Mush the Unwanted”.
It’s fun to adapt my artwork, originally draw on paper and computer art board
to 3D Toy surface… follow the distinctive shape of the toy but have to
keep identity of my character. Finally, the designs are done
As you see… don’t know of you like it or not.

There is another one that I’ve send to the contest..
but it have been created for the contest ,specially.
